Some of the difficulties I faced during my course is that “Some question are there with word limit, so it is not always possible to comprehend within the given word space. Like: Situation
(1) Dealing with a child who is continuously lying about not doing his work Situation
(2) A child who is habitually late in class, Situation
(3) A child who keeps tearing pages from his/ her copy. I would recommend this course, because that is how I got to know about ATI.

The Pre & Primary Teachers' Training course was a choice inspired by a need to equip myself in gaining in-depth understanding of what it takes to be an effective teacher of young learners. Since the course has a special focus on teaching English, it was exactly the fuel behind wanting to do it, as this is an area of struggle among most of the teachers of pre-school kids in Nagaland in my observation. I considered and chose ATI because: Duration of the course was appropriate! Had in-class course! Internationally recognized! Was reasonably close in proximity to my state to residence! Covers the topics that I was looking for!

Cheapest, happened to be in India, time when I happened to be here.
Kochi sucks… City life pollution + traffic is not somewhere we should be when trying to ease the mind. Teaching overseas often means teaching in remote areas. Why not prepare out minds for a future experience? Positive- ATI itself has been great. Responded to all my emails quickly, answered all my question, Staff have been fabulous, patient and approachable. A good location with such amazing people would be ideal. I was in Cochin for 19 days, and it's a great place. Near the seaside and the people at ATI were very nice and informative. It was a very effective course. Aimed at exactly what it was we needed to know, especially for those of us without teaching experience. I feel like I have been given exactly what I need to know to start working as a teacher, even though I have never taught before. Its given me a good basic to work from.

I was told that I had be give a placement, after the course. I had set my heart on this happen, but now that I am here I have found out that it is not possibility. That's every disappointing. And I am lucky I did not believe too strongly in what I was told, before I came to do the course. It could have been a big problem.
