The sudden shift to an online mode of learning due to the pandemic has resulted in a mounting demand for online teachers with a virtual teaching training and the skills and flexibility to adapt to this new form of teaching. The popularity of virtual learning goes hand-in-hand with the demand for proficient educators. Thus, ACT has come up with the Virtual Online Teaching program which is a specialised course that aims to prepare educators to handle online teaching scenarios and aids in building a strong foundation in the techniques of virtual teaching. It can be said, without a doubt, that virtual teaching is here to stay given the technological advances of the 21st century. Therefore, understanding the nuances of virtual online teaching in India becomes imperative.

ACT conducts the Virtual Teaching Courses in two different levels:

  • Certificate in VOLT
  • Diploma in VOLT

Certificate in VOLT

Course duration: 2 months (can be extended till 4 months)
Eligibility criteria:Minimum qualification is 10+2 or higher secondary Course fee:INR 8,000 for online mode

Diploma in VOLT

Course duration: 3 months (can be extended till 6 months)
Eligibility criteria: Minimum qualification is 10+2 or higher secondary passed
Course fee:: INR 12,000 for online mode
