The MEPSC Pre-School and Day Care Facilitator RPL Programme is designed for experienced early years professionals who want to validate and strengthen the skills gained through prior learning and workplace experience. The 90-hour programme includes 50 hours of practical training and 40 hours of theoretical learning. Participants strengthen their competencies in child development, health and safety, age-appropriate learning, observation and assessment, family engagement, and creating supportive learning environments for young children.

The programme also develops essential professional skills in communication, digital literacy, workplace ethics, financial and legal awareness, and entrepreneurship. Areas such as diversity, inclusion, constitutional values, and 21st-century workplace skills further prepare participants to work responsibly and confidently in modern early learning environments.

Designed for individuals with relevant experience in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE), the RPL pathway helps participants formalise their existing competencies, enhance their professional profile, and improve their career prospects as preschool and day care facilitators.

Course Duration

The MEPSC Pre-School and Day Care Facilitator RPL Programme has a total duration of 90 hours, comprising 50 hours of practical training and 40 hours of theoretical learning. The programme is aligned with NSQF Level 4.

• 17 Live Online Classes – 3 hours per session

Eligibility

Applicants must have:

• Completed Class 12 (10+2) or an equivalent qualification
• At least 12 months of relevant work experience in an early childhood education or childcare setting

Certification

Upon successful completion of the programme, learners will receive a Certificate of Skill Competency issued by the Management & Entrepreneurship and Professional Skills Council (MEPSC). The certificate will identify Asian College of Teachers (ACT) as the Training Partner, formally recognising the learner’s competencies in the Pre-School and Day Care Facilitator Programme.
