Course Overview
The 420-hour Pre-School and Day Care Facilitator Programme is designed to prepare aspiring professionals for a career in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE). With a focus on children aged 3–6 years, the programme develops the knowledge and practical skills needed to support their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in preschools, day care centres, and other early learning environments.
Learners gain hands-on expertise in child development, health and safety, inclusive practices, activity planning, observation and assessment, documentation, and family engagement. The programme helps participants understand how to create safe, engaging, and age-appropriate learning experiences that support the holistic development of young children.
Along with early childhood education skills, the programme places strong emphasis on workplace and employability readiness. Participants develop competencies in communication, digital literacy, professional ethics, customer service, financial and legal awareness, entrepreneurship, and career planning. Eligibility
The Pre-School and Day Care Facilitator Programme is designed for aspiring early years professionals who want to build practical knowledge and skills for a career in Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE).
Applicants must meet any one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Completed Class 12 (10+2) with at least 6 months of relevant work experience
- Hold an NSQF Level 3.5 qualification with a minimum of 1.5 years of relevant work experience
- Hold an NSQF Level 3 qualification with at least 3 years of relevant work experience
Eligible candidates looking to strengthen their early childhood education skills and prepare for professional roles in preschool and day care settings are encouraged to apply.

Certification
Upon successful completion of the programme, learners will receive a Certificate of Skill Competency issued by the Management & Entrepreneurship and Professional Skills Council (MEPSC). The certificate will recognise Asian College of Teachers (ACT) as the Training Partner, validating the learner’s competencies in the Pre-School and Day Care Facilitator Programme.

MEPSC is an NCVET-approved Awarding Body under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India.
