About the Course

Asian College of Teachers has especially designed Special Education (Learning Disabilities, ADHD and autism) course to equip teachers with practical skills to handle diverse learners deftly. The course covers learning disabilities in the classroom with prime focus on ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder) and Autism available in 3 levels – Certificate, Diploma and PG Diploma. The course will help the teachers identify the learning or behavioural problems of special learners which will aid in effectively meeting the needs of students with disabilities and help them settle down in a comprehensive classroom through unique engaging activities. Our Special Education Needs course provides the teachers with a strong foundation in the methods and strategies to deal with Learning Disabilities as well as ADHD and Autism.

The 3 levels of our Special Education Course are:

  • Certificate in Special Education
  • Diploma in Special Education
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Special Education

Certificate in Special Education Course

  • Course duration: 60 hours (maximum duration 4 months)
  • Eligibility criteria: Minimum qualification is 10+2 or higher secondary passed
  • Course fee: INR 18,000 for online mode

  • Course duration: 120 hours (maximum duration 8 months)
  • Eligibility criteria: Minimum qualification is 10+2 or higher secondary passed
  • Course fee: INR 35,000 for online mode

Post Graduate Diploma in Special Education Course

  • Course duration: 180 hours (maximum duration 12 months)
  • Eligibility criteria: Minimum qualification is a Bachelor's degree
  • Course fee: INR 40,000 (ACT Certification)/ 47000 INR (ACT Certification + CACHE /TQUK )
