Why a Forum?

Teachers' training is one of the most exploited academic fields in India but still there is immense scope of improvement and up gradation. This forum is dedicated to give teacher's training in India a new dimension. The Board of Academics consisting of some of the most experienced teachers and academicians. Since ancient times, teachers have been given immense respect in Indian society. The wages of teachers have also improved significantly in recent times. However, the much needed research and development on teacher's training has taken a back seat. The age old methods have not yet been improvised in most areas.

Kolkata is blessed with some greatest academicians but what we lacked till date was a common platform to share their knowledge and views, which might culminate into something special. ATI desires to improve their training quality, hone their skills and incorporate the up-to-the-minute techniques in their curriculum.

We invite all professionals, teachers and academicians from all fields to be a member of our Board of Academics. The forum meets are to be held on a regular basis thus giving teachers a chance to gain and share knowledge.

Activities of the Board:

We have 25 to 30 teachers and professionals in our core team who are deeply involved in dispersing their expertise and experience.
ATI aspires to conduct conferences for the academicians at least twice a year.
One of the conferences will be of international level, where we might involve professionals from across the globe.
The other conference will constitute of local teachers and academicians.
American TESOL Institute also plans to develop of E Magazine where our venture can be shared globally.
Various workshops will be help for teachers who want to learn the new methods of teaching and are interested in upgrading their skills and sharing their own experience.

About the Sponsor

The Board of Academic is sponsored by American TESOL Institute, which is a multinational teacher's training organization. ATI has branches in Europe, USA, Thailand, China and India. The projects of ATI has been accredited and acknowledged by some of the most revered educational institutes in the world. Various international institutes, government bodies, academic institutes, schools and placement agencies work in close collaboration with American TESOL Institute. The company, which took its first step in 2002, has now evolved into one of the most reputed teachers' training institute.

American TESOL Institute as the name suggests began its journey as a TEFL Institute, which trained second language English teachers. In India, ATI has decided to take on the entire teacher's training arena. The first venture of ATI in India is so Pre & Primary Teachers Training with Specialization on Teaching English as a Second Language.
